“Cookie Elves” Seeking Volunteers &
Panther Creek Art and Craft Fair – November 9th

Wanda Barnes
Wanda Barnes

We are proud to announce the formation of the "LSWA Cookie Elves," who are a group of ladies in the club that have volunteered to provide snacks for members at each club meeting. Patti Hendricks and Wanda Barnes came up with the idea and several other ladies quickly joined including Constance Greb, Elaine Crawford, Amy Tomlinson, Susan Allen and Sharon Heuer.

These ladies will be taking turns bringing freshly made cookies or other treats for the morning coffee break at the club meetings. The “Cookie Elves” always welcome any new Elves! If you would like to volunteer, please contact Wanda Barnes. If anyone has any food allergies, please let us know ASAP! If we do not hear anything from you, we will assume we are good to go with any ingredients.

Special November

(Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek drive at the intersection of Woodlands Parkway and W. Panther Creek Drive)

Please stop by the LSWA club booth (across from Starbucks) and visit with your fellow club members if you attend the show. We still need volunteers in the booth to assist with handing out informational brochures to prospective members. Even if you can only help for an hour or two, we need your help! Some club members will be displaying their finished woodturnings in the booth and Brian Greb will also be performing live turning demonstrations throughout the day.

Please see Pete Allen at the show if you can volunteer to help in the booth during the show. The club will also be selling woodturnings donated by club members, with all proceeds benefiting the Montgomery County Women’s Center (MCWC). If you have a woodturning you would like to donate for the special sale to benefit the MCWC, please call Pete Allen.

This year's show will feature over 100 booth spaces nestled under the storefront canopy of the Panther Creek Shopping Center with exhibitors offering some of the highest quality arts and crafts available in the area. Over 4,500 people are expected to attend this show. We’ll see you there! If you have any questions, please contact Pete Allen, 713-299-7556, or Steve Russell, 713-826-0046.
