What We Are About
The Lone Star Woodturners Association, Inc. - (LSWA) - is a non-profit 501(c)3 educational corporation and a member chapter of the American Association of Woodturners - (AAW) - that meets monthly in and around North Houston and The Woodlands, Texas area. If you live in Harris, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Liberty, or Walker counties, we would be pleased to send you information on our woodturning association and our upcoming events.
Membership in the Lone Star Woodturners Association, Inc., is open to anyone with a desire to learn and share ideas about woodturning with other members.
Some of the many benefits in membership include:
- Monthly meetings with live woodturning demonstrations. Visitors are welcome to attend meetings.
- Use of the clubs lending library of woodturning books and videos. If you view only one video or book, your savings over the purchase price can easily cover the cost of your annual membership fee.
- Member website area and much more to help you master the art of woodturning.
- Ability to network with other woodturners. You'll learn more from regularly brushing elbows with other woodturners than by any other means. There are many years of woodturning experience in our club that you can take advantage of by talking with our members.
