The mission of the Lone Star Woodturners Association is to inspire and enrich the lives of our members and the public through educational excellence and innovative instruction in the field of lathe turned art, crafts and general woodworking.

1.) Be recognized as one of the leading Woodturning Associations in the United States of America.
2.) Be seen as an educational leader and ambassador of lathe turned art and crafts in the state of Texas.
3.) Expand our Patron Donor, Planned Giving and Corporate Donations program to include new individuals and corporations that donate to educational and visual arts oriented non-profit organizations.
4.) Establish the "Lone Star Woodturners Association, Center for Lathe Turned Art and Crafts," in a permanent educational building for our members with sufficient facilities for our current and anticipated future growth needs.
